cyberBionic: Design und Evolution digitaler Welten (German Edition) ReviewWhen I came across this book in a Bern bookstore, it consumed the following two hours of my life, and it was worth every minute of it! I walked away inspired to create, and with a better understanding of how biology, physics, and information science fit together into the bigger puzzle.This book is light on text and heavy on design. Gremmler's artwork is just breathtaking: through esoteric gray-blue diagrams and brief commentary he brings to life information and graph theory, social networks, artificial and swarm intelligence, evolutionary algorithms, chaos theory, and other high-interest topics of modern computer and information science. As an intermediate German reader I found the text to be readable, but I would consider this as a gift for someone even if they don't read German, just for the sake of the awe-inspiring graphics. Furthermore, there are many quotes in English and many of the terms labeling the sections and graphics are either taken from English or are recognizable cognates.
I have noticed a minor graphical glitch in the Game of Life section, but this in no way interferes with the reading, and doesn't even begin to mar the book's 5-star rating.cyberBionic: Design und Evolution digitaler Welten (German Edition) Overview
