Modern German Pronunciation: An Introduction for Speakers of English ReviewI got this book for a course in German pronunciation and I love it! It has descriptions on how to make sounds, differences in diphthongs in English and German, and explanations on German intonation and stress. There are also descriptions of dialectal variations in German (and some in English). (It is also heavy on the IPA but makes it easy to understand.) I have found this book to be very helpful throughout my whole college career. It is now four years after I bought the book and I still refer to it at least once a semester.
